Who We Are
The Latin Music and Dance Club started in a dorm room. Three sophmore girls decided that it was time the whole univerity community knew and participated in the music and dances they had grown up with. This idea of creating a club that would not only entertain, but would also teach the students a bit of latin american culture came from the desire of making the university more culturaly diverse.
Our mission is to motivate our members to be open to new music and dances. It is also our objective to help our members shake of their shyness and make them realize they don't have two left feet. We want them to be able to grab a partner and dance to the rhythm of a song they know all the history behind.
